Understanding and introducing him in passing is an impossible task. Perhaps the best testament to Amiri's scholarly and literary identity is his aforementioned works, which necessitate extensive research and deep investigation. His poetry was exceptionally powerful and poetic, characterized by creativity, thematic innovation, and vivid imagery. One of Amiri's achievements is being recognized by the esteemed leader of the revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, as one of the finest contemporary poets, hence bestowed with the title Sayyid al-Shu'ara. Professor Amiri has also been consistently praised for his eloquence in the discourse of poetry and literature. Especially in ghazal poetry, his refined language places him among the distinguished poets of our time, even regarded as a reviver of the Indian style in contemporary era.
