Method: The current research is applied in terms of purpose and survey research in terms of method. The statistical population of the research was the members of the public libraries affiliated to the institution of public libraries of Tehran in the period from October 2021 to October 2022. The total number of members of public libraries in Tehran was equal to 42185 people. Based on Cochran's formula, 379 people were selected as the research sample. The data collection tool included two questionnaires of public library services and attitude to social harms. Finally, the data was analyzed using SPSS software version 22. Findings: The research findings showed that the use of public libraries led to a reduction in social harms and the more users who visited the library, the more aware they were of social harms. have more and have avoided social issues. Conclusion: According to the results of the research, it seems that public libraries have succeeded in creating a critical view of social harms, but their performance needs to be strengthened and more attention should be paid to this area. In addition, in dealing with social harms, people with an approach of seeking information and expanding knowledge and having a precise and regulated framework have less tendency towards social deviations. By providing effective and useful services in the society, public libraries can solve many problems related to social deviations, including reducing suicide, divorce, theft, etc.</p> </div> <div class="padding_abstract justify rtl" style="box-sizing: border-box; direction: rtl; text-align: justify; padding: 15px; border-left: 0px !important; border-right: 5px solid rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1) !important; color: #333333; font-family: rtl-font, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: #ffffff; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;">هدف: هدف از پژوهش حاضر بررسی تاثیر کتابخانه‌های عمومی بر کاهش آسیب های اجتماعی بود. روش: پژوهش حاضر از لحاظ هدف کاربردی و از لحاظ روش از نوع پژوهش‌های پیمایشی است. جامعة آماری پژوهش اعضای کتابخانه‌های عمومی وابسته به نهاد کتابخانه‌های عمومی شهر تهران در بازة زمانی مهرماه 1400 تا مهر ماه 1401 بود. تعداد کل اعضای کتابخانه‌های عمومی شهر تهران برابر با 42185 نفر بود. براساس فرمول کوکران تعداد 377 نفر به‌عنوان نمونه پژوهش انتخاب شدند. ابزار گردآوری داده‌ها شامل دو پرسشنامه خدمات‌رسانی کتابخانه عمومی و نگرش به آسیب‌های اجتماعی بود. در نهایت داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم افزار اس پی اس اس نسخه 22 تحلیل شد یافته‌ها: یافته‌های پژوهش نشان داد که استفاده از کتابخانه‌های عمومی منجر به کاهش آسیب های اجتماعی شده و هر چه کاربران بیشتر به کتابخانه مراجعه نموده اند نسبت به آسیب های اجتماعی آگاهی بیشتری داشته و از مسائل اجتماعی دوری کرده اند. نتیجه‌گیری: طبق نتایج پژوهش به نظر می رسد که کتابخانه های عمومی در ایجاد نگاه نقادانه نسبت به آسیب های اجتماعی موفق عمل کرده اند اما عملکرد آن ها نیاز به تقویت دارد و باید توجه بیشتری به این حوزه شود. افزون براین افراد در برخورد با آسیب‌های اجتماعی با داشتن رویکرد اطلاع‌جویی و گسترش دانش و برخوردار بودن از چارچوبی دقیق و تنظیم شده گرایش کمتری به سوی انحرافات اجتماعی دارند. کتابخانه‌های عمومی می‌توانند با خدمات‌رسانی مؤثر و مفید در جامعه کارگشای حل بسیاری از معضلات مربوط به انحرافات اجتماعی از جمله کاهش خودکشی، طلاق، سرقت و... باشند.</div> social damages public libraries nstitution of public libraries of the country آسیب‌های اجتماعی کتابخانه‌های عمومی نهاد کتابخانه‌های عمومی کشور https://journalspsich.com/index.php/journalspsich/article/download/28/17
