Abstract

Background and purpose: Shivan Fomeni is one of the most innovative contemporary Gilani lyricists. Many articles and materials have been written about Shion Fomeni's poems, but none of the styles of Fomeni's poems have been examined. In this regard, the aim of this research is to investigate the stylistics of Shion Fomeni's poems.

Methods: The present research is descriptive-analytical and using library resources. The data collection of this research has been done by relying on library sources, articles and using reliable electronic databases, and then the author has analyzed Shion Fomeni's poems in a descriptive and analytical way from the stylistic point of view.

Findings: Shion Fomeni uses Gilki colloquial and colloquial language as a tool to preserve and revive his native culture and local identity. By using local words and expressions, he makes his audience feel close to the culture of Gilan and in this way, reflects his cultural identity in his poetry. In some of his poems, Shion writes poetry in the Gilaki language and uses words and expressions common in the local dialect. This helps to highlight the native identity of the poet and the culture of Gilan.

Conclusion: The results of the research show that the poet's attention is to the use of many original spiritual tricks such as: proportion, contrast, allusion and metaphor and imaginary forms such as: simile, metaphor, allusion and animism. Paradoxical combinations can be considered as one of the most important aesthetic aspects of his language, which are widely used in his poetry and have doubled the beauty and effect of speech. Discourse axes, such as: social and political thoughts, humanism and attention to human values, attention to existential and philosophical issues, connection with nature and environment, reflection on human suffering and pain, criticism of modern and machine life, emphasis on cultural identity and Bumi, looking at destiny and fate, etc. are important topics that can be seen in Shion Fomeni's intellectual level.
