Abstract

After Ferdowsi's Shahnameh, Asadi's Garshasbnameh is the second epic work of Iran. In this poem book, Asadi Tousi has equally considered both the bravery, war, bloodshed as well as peace and friendship. The peaceful issues are outstanding and remarkable in literature and its stories. Henceforth, this epic verse can hold a prism of factors providing peace and compromise and a model ending the war and prevalent violence in today's human society. This research has been done based on descriptive- analytical method to stabilize peace in Garshasbnameh from the view of Yuhan Galtung. From his view, culture is the origin of all rites and merits. People's beliefs identified as the main indicators of culture play a significant role in peace and reconciliation. He believes that issue of peace necessitates reconsideration and it is not achieved by abandoning hatred and hostility. Furthermore, it is devoted to fairness and the understanding of truthful relationships and away from violence in today's world. In fact, preventing war and bloodshed paves the path of peace in society. That is why, after describing and interpreting the specified peace making factors, abolishing cruelty is the boldest and the most outstanding type of peace. The present research aims to explain and scrutinize this issue specifically war and bloodshed.
