Abstract

Isfahan's urban policies, especially in recent decades, have aimed to create a sustainable and responsive environment for residents. These policies include infrastructure renovation, development of public spaces, and increased access to social services. The importance of these actions lies in their impact on enhancing a sense of belonging and social participation. The present study is of practical significance. It examines the relationships between variables using structural equation modeling (SEM) to propose an appropriate model. The complex relationships between urban policies and dimensions of public trust are simultaneously investigated. The research's conceptual model is designed based on literature and theories related to urban development and public trust. This model includes independent variables of urban development policies and dependent variables of public trust. Data were collected from reputable library and electronic sources. Additionally, a total of 207 questionnaires were distributed in the quantitative phase, out of which 4 were returned due to various reasons such as selecting one option for all questions or being incomplete. Ultimately, data analysis was conducted with 203 questionnaires, and appropriate measurement tools were selected or designed to measure the variables. These tools included questionnaires and expert surveys. The questionnaires covered various dimensions of public trust and urban development policies, and their validity and reliability were examined. Data analysis was performed using SMART PLS software.
