Abstract

Operation Valfajr 8, as one of the significant operations in the Iran-Iraq war, encompassed extensive political dimensions. This operation, executed in February 1986, had numerous political aspects in addition to military objectives, leading to diverse impacts. One of the crucial political dimensions of this operation was demonstrating military power and emphasizing Iran’s defensive capabilities, sending a decisive message to both enemies and allies.
